About

Natalie Wasicko is a research assistant in the neuropathology division at the Lieber Institute.  She graduated from Stevenson University in 2019 with a B.S. in biochemistry.  During her undergraduate career, Wasicko researched the effects of ethanol on Drosophila melanogaster larvae in order to study the neural development and fetal alcohol syndrome.  She hopes to further her education and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in forensic chemistry.  At LIBD, she assists Dr. Rahul Bharadwaj in various post-mortem brain pathology dissections.
