Ishbel Del Rosario is a Research Assistant working in Dr. Keri Martinowich’s lab, studying spatial transcriptomics and sn-RNA-sequencing in post-mortem human brain tissue. She earned her undergraduate degree in neuroscience at West Texas A&M University and a Master’s in Biotechnology focusing on Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine from the Johns Hopkins University. While obtaining her master’s, she studied the potential of perivascular stem cells derived from adipose tissue in bone regeneration. Her goal is to use transcriptomics and the regenerative potential of stem cells to find treatment for brain tumors.
