About

Dongsan Kim joined the Lieber Institute in 2023 as a member of the Cell Genomics Core team, specializing in computational and bioinformatics analysis. Before joining the institute, he was a visiting scholar at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying disease initiation and progression, such as cancer and Parkinson’s disease, through integrative analyses spanning genomics to phenomics. He holds a B.A. in Bioinformatics from Soongsil University and a Ph.D. in Systems Biology from KAIST in Korea.
