Huimei Yu, Ph.D. is a Staff Scientist I in the Drug Discovery Division of Lieber Institute for Brain Development. Her research interests focus on physiological, cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying learning/memory and neuropsychiatric disorders, schizophrenia in particular. Dr. Yu received her Ph.D. degree in Chinese Academy of Science. She received her postdoctoral training from Professor Hongjun Song’s Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine. She has searched on epigenetic regulation of neuronal plasticity and learning/memory. Dr. Yu has worked extensively in the fields of cellular, molecular biology and physiological studies and specialize in physiological studies.
