Samantha Daugherty serves as a Grants Administrator at the Lieber Institute. She holds a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics from Towson University, with a concentration in molecular biology. Samantha began her career as a microbiology Research Scientist, contributing to the development of sustainable biopesticide solutions using bacteria and fungi. She later transitioned into research administration, first as an Administrative Assistant at the Institute before being promoted to her current role as Grants Administrator. Drawing on both scientific expertise and organizational acumen, she provides comprehensive support for grant management and research operations.
