Selvakumaran Muthu joined the Lieber Institute in 2021 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. His research interests include target identifications for drug discovery programs in relation to schizophrenia and neurodegenerative disorders. His expertise and research focus also involve the mechanisms of mitophagy/autophagy pathways and post-translational modifications in response to dopamine in the brain and development, and in diseases.
